Subject	4 to 5 inches of freeplay? Did I read that right?

Message	The rod coming off of the back of the pedal is adjustable. There is a writeup somewhere on how to do it. Did you have this problem before you got new clutch parts (fork, pivot ball...)? If not, one of those might be defective. How many slave cylinders have you gone through? If it is only one, and the current one is working ok I would think that you might have gotten a defective slave cylinder and everything is fine now.
